1# There are two main counters to an early Stuart. The first is to go Tier 2 at the begging of the game and get the panzerschreck upgrade. A panzerschreck squad in cover can deal with a Stuart, two will be a serious threat to it in open terrain. The second counter is to rush Tier 4 and get a anti tank half track. If you have enough munitions you can disable the Stuart with the AT- Half Tracks tread breaker ability. Once immobilized you can then destroy it from a safe range with the half tracks superoir range. Going Luftwaffe and using a invisible (cloaked) kettenkrad as a forward observer for the AT half track is also a great tactic. Remember you can hear a tank in the fog of war so play with your music set to half volume, or less, and listen to the fog of war you will hear the enemy coming.

2# I have enough munitions because I command the majority of the field in most of the games I’ve recorded. Mines are a great investment becuase they force the enemy to think twice about where he is going to move. This causes him stress and thats good becuase you are fighting the player not his army. The more stress you put on the enemy player the easier time you will have fighting him. He will make mistakes you can take advantage of.

If he invests in pioneers with mine detectors he’s splitting his attention and investing manpower and munitions in a way that you can predict. Once the enemy begins doing what you want him to the game is yours, you can move around his forces, blunt his attacks and counter attack for maxim impact. Mines are a tool to control the battle field, they both punish and condition the enemy player and that makes them one of the signs that you are playing verses a good player. When I’m playing I know I’m going to have a tough fight when I run into a early mine, especially if I’m planing verses Americans.
