Company of Heroes: Tip of the Week #1 Super Mines

Hey guys, this video is the first in my series of weekly micro tips for Company of Heroes. This video is by no means a replacement for Tips and Tricks proper, but rather just a reminder that I’m not dead. Although I might as well be with Uncharted 2 coming out later this week. Enjoy, and remember there is a donate button on this site, it’s in the ‘about’ section. It would be cool if I got a hand covering the hosting charges, 7 bucks US a month. Also, I’m adding a archive page to Data Cube which should help people find their way around.

Nice video but way too long for just explaining the super mine.
Wouldn’t it be better to use sticky bombs instead of sacrifice a M8?

hey, do you know if the cheat mod carries over into online multiplayer matches? even if you dont activate the mod shortcut? I would hate to have my account banned

@Sean P: No, the mod actually runs a separate .model file makeing it impossible to play with others becuase those files have to match. Or at least thats how I understand it.

hi karl.i downloaded your cheat mod and a shortcut came up on my desktop saying CoH – Cheat Mod, but when i start it there isnt anything that has to do with mods. its still just the same company of heroes game as if i didnt download anything. is there something wrong with my computer or is the file non-compatible with Vista?

Well, to get the mod working make a copy of the CoH shortcut on your desktop and then right click it and go to properties. Click the short cut tab and you’ll see the path line for the short cut, it should like some thing like this.

C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\company of heroes\RelicCOH.exe”

Assuming that you installed it to steam, don’t replace it if it’s a different path! Simply ad these commands that are in bold at the back and it should activate the cheat mod when you open it with that short cut.

…\RelicCOH.exe” (a space) -mod CheatMod -dev -nomovies

Would the path line be the one that says “Target” on it?

Which images? Have you tried reloading the site by holding down shift and clicking refresh? That should flush the cache and reload the page.
